My personal experiences with the criminal justice system profoundly shaped my path. After enduring two months of unlawful incarceration, I witnessed the stark lack of support for justice-involved individuals and their families. This eye-opening experience drove me to action, and in 2021, I founded Justice By Objectives (JBO). What began as a grassroots effort to assist families navigating the complexities of the justice system has grown into a nonprofit dedicated to providing peer support, advocacy, and practical assistance.
